Intermediate Colloquial Tibetan Online Weekly Review Sessions (Tib. 201 and 202)
AIM OF THE REVIEW SESSIONS
These weekly review sessions put emphasis on speaking exercises, games, and drills. The aim of these weekly Review Sessions is to solidify and practice the content of the Lower and the Upper Intermediate Courses (Tib. 201 & 202) in an organized and joyful way together with your old and new friends and classmates. The goal is to gain more clarity about the grammar topics and ease or fluency at using (some of) the vocabulary of Lessons 11-20 of our textbook བོད་སྐད་སྙིང་པོ། The Heart of Tibetan Language Volume 2. For its table of contents, follow this link to Google Play, and click on the button "Free Sample".
Another goal is also to continue building healthy study habits, such as regular vocabulary, listening and speaking practice, etc. which are important for your continuous learning.
REQUIREMENTS
Everyone is welcome to attend this course.
- Alumni of the Courses Tib. 201 & Tib. 202 (our past Lower and Upper Intermediate Courses in 2024) are qualified and invited to attend;
- our dear new students who enrolled into Tib. 301, and plan to do this review to catch up with the level of the forthcoming Tib. 301 Course;
- Intermediate-level Colloquial Tibetan students who did not study with us previously will need to complete a short placement test.
It is important to come to each session prepared, having reviewed the respective Lesson by watching the key-point videos and webinars, so that not much time will be spent on explanation, but the main focus will be on practice.
